Legal actions of Iranian students against European universities

Legal actions against University of Wuerzburg on behalf of Iranian scholars

Encountering discriminatory behavior and intellectual property destruction (sabotage) has embroiled at least two European universities in civil and adminstrative disputes. According to a report from Azadi News correspondent in Germany, the University of Würzburg in Germany and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland have been referred to administrative and civil courts due to unlawful correspondence, dissemination of falsehoods, and destruction of Iranian students’ properties. Among the documents and evidence obtained, titles such as “barefoot, dangerous, threat…” are observed being applied to Iranian students.

The Iranian Medical and Legal Association (CanMedLaw), a non-governmental organization overseeing extraterritorial activities, has taken responsibility for initiating the aforementioned lawsuits and advocating for the rights of Iranian students.
