Following the ruling of the International Court of Justice No. 2024/47 dated May 24, 2024, Clause 2a concerning the immediate cessation of military operations and the obligation of the Israeli government to report to the International Court of Justice under Clause 3, Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa, quoted Nelson Mandela at a gathering near Mandela’s home in Soweto, saying: “We are not completely free until the Palestinian people are free.”

This statement by Nelson Mandela was not due to his Islamic or Arab zeal, but rather due to his deep understanding of apartheid as the cornerstone of violating international law.

As long as Israel does not cease its daily war against the Palestinian people, which has been taking weekly, daily, and monthly victims since 1948, in the face of international astonishment, international law, and consequently the hope of achieving an international standard for resolving cross-border disputes, has no solid foundation.

In the absence of solid legal foundations, international law appears as bullying and political accusations.

The Independent International Bar Association of Iran, while expressing support for the ruling of the International Court of Justice, condemns the military operations of the occupiers in Gaza.
